The Serenity Prayer is said to have been composed in 1933. The prayer gained enormous popularity and was adopted by Alcoholics Anonymous in 1941. The prayer is so simple and at its heart speaks to all in whatever difficult circumstances life finds them. In 1987 Rogue River Oregon Photographer, Andy Anderson, started his business. He would decoupage one of his photos with a religious message. The plaque being offered was probably done in 1987 or there about. The wood appears to be pine.
Condition: I would place condition at Very Good. There are surface scratches on piece. Overall it is not detracting. I find it rather peaceful and harkens back to a quieter time.
