    Description

    This is a beautiful antique / vintage framed religious print. A tin lithograph print titled "Saint Rita of Cascia" published by John Duffy of New York around the turn of the century. Print depicts Saint Rita holding a crucifiction cross with Christ, while an angel removes a crown of thorns from her head. A thorn is still left sticking in her forehead. In the background a group of cherubs are carrying flowers while one cherub is bringing a wreath of flowers to place on Saint Rita's head. A very spiritual and moving religious print. The tin litho print is in good condition for it's age. It has several light scratches and handling marks in the finish which does not detract from the character of the print, the frame have a few minor scratches also, very rare and hard to find!
